Shri Anantbodh Chaitanya (श्री अनंतबोध चैतन्य) is a spiritual teacher and Trustee in Shri Govind Math Trust, Varanasi. He extends the lineage of saints and yogis who renounced their homes at an early age in the search of supreme truth, giving up all worldly ties and aspirations. He belongs to the Advaita Vedanta tradition, one of the oldest in India.

Early years

His spiritual journey began with eight years in seeking spiritual excellence through intensive training in the company of the saints and sadhus in the Himalayan foothills.

He adopted the sect of Adi Shankaracharya, choosing to devote his life to the service of Vedic scriptures and to the spiritual values of Indian heritage and culture.

He was born in a pious Brahmin family. Anantbodh Chaitanya had a deep attraction for spiritual life that was reflected in his day-to-day activities. Since his childhood, he had the intuition that he will dedicate his entire life to self-realization and the service of humanity.

Diksha

He blessed with Shakti Mantra (Shri Vidya) Diksha From Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Nirvana Pithadhishwar Swami Shri Vishwadevanada Ji Maharaj in April 2005 at Sanyas Ashram, Elise Bridge, Ahmadabad.

Before met GuruJi his name was Satish Kumar (सतीश कुमार). Guruji gave him a new spiritual name according to tradition: Anantbodh Chaitanya.

Education

He graduated (Shastri) after studying Sanskrit language and Indian philosophy.

He earned a Master’s degree in Darshan from Sangved Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Narvar, Narora, Uttar Pradesh. and a PhD in Gyan Mimansa from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi. He studied Vedanta from Shyam Baba Guruji.

He completed comprehensive training into the depths of the spiritual and moral scriptures and classical treatises with Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Nirvana Pithadhishvar Swami Shri Vishwadevanada Ji Maharaj.

Teaching

He has taught scriptures, Sanskrit language, Indian philosophy, and culture to hundreds of students for 10 years.

He had three years’ experience as a spiritual counsellor in Shivedale School, Haridwar.

He helped Indians and foreigners in their advanced researches and studies.

He started a Mudras research group in Malta. He gave an Interview on Channel. 

He was appointed to the post of Director at Alakh Yog India.

He established a Yoga and Aikido Studio in JonavaLithuania.

He gave a lecture on Stress management in the Health Department of Jonava.

He started to celebrate World Yoga Day in Jonava.

He talked about Ramayan on an International webinar organized by Global Encyclopedia of Ramayana.

Publications

He authored articles for several journals and magazines. He helped and assisted in editing the Vedanta literature of the classical era at the Mahesh Research Institute. His efforts won national and international acclaim.

His work on Shri Shankaracharya’s work Shankar Bhashya is in press.

His work on the significance of the Sanatan Dhara and Secrets of the Upanishads are undergoing translation into English.

He wrote Shri Vidya Sadhana Sopan on Shri Vidya.

Social service and activities

He established Veer Seva Samiti in 2000 for child welfare and health-care.

He established an English Sanskrit Academy in 2009 for students of both languages.

He founded Sanatan Dhara Foundation Trust with a global mission in 2011.

He was a founding member of Drishti Foundation established in 2012 at Ahmedabad. He is a trustee and adviser.

Since 2005 Giving regular discourses on the Upanishads, Shrimad Gita, and Yoga Sutras in Shri Yantra Mandir, Kankhal, Haridwar to students from all around the globe.

As a member of several institutions and as an able administrator, he has given his valuable guidelines for their development.

one-month tour in Malaysia for offering discourses on Shri Vidya.

3 months tour in Australia to give teachings on the Srimad Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras.

Represented Hindu Religion in BangkokThailand.

30 member delegation from Thailand visited Shri Anantbodh Chaitanya at Haridwar.

Delivered lectures on harmony between religions in Bontang, KalimantanIndonesia.

He has been invited in Word Hindu Summit 2012 & 2013 in Bali Indonesia as a Spiritual Leader.

He awarded with the highest appreciation as a keynote speaker for imparting his valuable insights during the International Seminar of Ramayana at Bank of Indonesia, JakartaIndonesia.

He gave a workshop on Mudra therapy in SurabayaIndonesia.

Indonesian vice tourism minister Shri Gde Pitana met Shri Anantbodh Chaitanya in Haridwar.

He organised a workshop on the topic of ‘Self Healing with Mudras’ in MaltaEurope in January 2014.

He taught about the ancient wisdom of Marma Therapy in Jonava.

He has been appointed Honorary Ambassadors of Yoga alliance International by the Founder President of Yoga Alliance International Swami Vidyananda Ji in 2015.

He has established an Anantbodh Yoga & Aikido Studio in June 2015 in JonavaLithuania. He is travelling all around the world with a mission of Harmony and world brotherhood.

Expressing his confidence, Swami Saradananda wrote that the indomitable courage and strength of character that Anantbodh possesses will let again the sacred waters from the pristine Manasarovar of the Veda once more flow into the bloodstream of our children giving life and bringing the world the benediction of spiritual light!
